If your going to become a artist, create art, and publish it online, then you should expect that not everyone will like your work, and not everyone will post the best of comments or say the best of things about it. Expect some to be like “This is quite beautiful, but…” because in all seriousness there will always be a but added in to the comment, if there isn’t then its not much of a useful comment. Not everyone will know how to post great constructive critiques to art, but its up to you to sort through and use these ‘negative’ comments or critiques and work them to your advantage. Or just ignore them. Its that simple.

I’m sick and tired of hearing all these artists complain how people don’t like their work. Yet still get mad at users when they still say they like it and then try to help. even if its directed at one user in particular, everyone is effected by your complaints. With the millions and millions of submissions on deviantart and other art sites and communities you should be grateful that people took the time to comment on your work , even if the comment wasn’t a 100% positive. No one is forced to comment on your art. So shut up and accept what you got. You should be happy that the art even warranted a feeling in them to post a comment. Most people want to help you and if that means stating the faults they see in your art while also providing what they liked the most and ways to improve the image, then accept them as they come. This way your next picture would be even better. But if your gonna be like “well i don’t need their help, and i don’t care.” then why are you getting all butt hurt over someone “verbally abusing” your art? if you really didn’t care then it should all shits and giggles. Stop taking every negative comment to heart and sort through real comments, like the ones that truly gave you what you asked for. Or you know what? you can solve it all by just blocking all comments. This way, everyone wins.

How do you expect artist get better in their work? its by listening to what their followers have to say. Sure your likely to get comments like “OMG!!! I LOVE THIS“. Sure its great to get these on occasion, its a great feeling to know that your art has warranted a feeling like this in someone, where they have nothing but good things to say about your piece,  but how are you suppose to learn anything from that? you won’t, and if you get nothing but comments like that because that’s what you like then you will NEVER get better even if you claim you will get better on your own. If that’s the came don’t even bother asking for critiques.

If you get upset over constrictive criticism, then your not mature enough to be a artist, and you know what? just quit now. Your saving everyone the headache, of having to listen to your complaints when things don’t go your way. It doesn’t matter if you claim your art is your own. There is truly no need to get upset over a few misdirected, rude, and stupid comments. If you truly believe that your art is yours and you love it as much as you claim you do, such comments shouldn’t mean anything to you. Its your own art. Continue to provide art to the people who follow you and actually take the time to tell you how much they love it, while also giving tips and hints along  the way, instead of complaining about the few who don’t. don’t ask for critiques if you can’t handle them. It’s as simple as that.

WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU. YOU HAVE A BRAIN. USE IT DUMB ASS.

This totally stems from the dumb shit that comes out my brother’s mouth about the kids he knows and the girls who for some odd reason refuse to realize that there is a world out there that doesn’t always involve boys.

Anyway I’m gonna start with the girls.
I’ve never been more embarrassed to be female then now. I’m pretty sure you heard the whole ‘guys think more with the little head more than their big one’. Well I think that has now become uni-sexed. Perhaps I’m even more late than ever on this. But I swear to everything that is holy that I never meet anyone or heard of any girl that comes close to the stupid that is the girls my brother hangs with/dates during my time of adolescence. I can’t be any more frank than this. Lay off his dick. Really. And I mean this for all girls underage over obsessing over guys and wishing that they can spend every waking moment with him.

Your a girl, and a underage one at that. Obsess over the latest fashion fad, go to school, listen to pop, and use your head. Never mix obsession and boys. EVER. Why?
1. You will ALWAYS look like the fool.
2. It not only makes you look bad, but desperate, and slutty. Seriously, who wants that?
3. Logic and reason pretty much seems to fly out the window.
4. If the three above don’t bother you as much as they should then something is seriously wrong with you.

There is nothing more embarrassing than being desperate to get a boy’s attention. Especially when you look like a fool doing it, or  slutty. There is something called dignity. Become friends with it. There is a image about yourself that you should have, The last thing you want is to taint it with a stupid act and rumors fly around school about how easy you are.

If a guy dumps you. GET OVER IT. Cry, complain to your friends about him, call him a careless bastard and move on. Its not like you are married to the guy and had 2.5 kids and a house with a white picket fence. It is not the end of the damn world. There is plenty of fish out there. Grab a fishing pole and fucking fish. Don’t come back to that same guy who tossed you away and beg for him to have you back. If he dumps you, then its pretty clear he doesn’t want you. Take his word for it. Find someone else, or no one at all. Its that simple.

And WTF is it with girls and their quest to make the boy who dumped them jealous? Really. Are you that desperate to lie about this other man who mysteriously came out of no where the second you break up? Grow up.

I’m not trying to sound like a feminist activist trying to spread the word of how women need to be better persons and not the stereotype that men create for them. But in all seriousness stop being a idiot with your head up your ass when it comes to guys.

Other random but much share things:

Cutting
Kids… unless there is like a legitimate  reason for taking a knife to your wrist, that doesn’t include the normal teenage angst, emo music, attention seeking, or that the guy next to you is doing it too; then your a dumb ass. Unless you were raped, subjected to domestic abuse, abandoned by your family, molested, clinically insane, or anything as serious as those you have no reason to even claim you know pain. I’d admit I use to do it when I was in high school. Got out of that really quick thanks to some friends who told me how dumb it was. It was the stupidest thing I ever did, there could of been a accident and I could of seriously been in some deep shit.  I hope that a lot of other teenagers who are doing this wake up as well. It’s not as cool as you think,in fact that whole shallow cutting thing is pretty stupid, stop pretending you want to kill yourself for a little attention.

Cursing in someone else’s house
If you mom happens to not care what comes out your mouth despite your age, well good for you. Nothing pisses me off more than a kid who curses more than the losers who appear on Jerry Springer Its like every other word is a curse or something obscene. Its like they fail to register that not all parents allow their kids to curse, not all parents are totally ok with the fact that their 15 year old son is saying words like ‘fuck and bitch’. Just because your friend is totally ok with it, doesn’t mean that everyone else in their house is as well. Learn to be respectful.

Oh yeah, I’m finally going to get around to fixing up and updating Planeteater as a whole. Will be needing a new layout, new content, a sidebar on the side, and perhaps some new plug-ins and widgets. I sort of updated my ‘Me’ page, removed the pictures plugin and added a Robo.to widget. A new layout is in order first, and I need to finally get my self back into making Myspace layouts. I can’t believe how long I’ve been on hiatus with the main site. Sad.

Anyway I finally managed to do something for my self, yet my timing is always off or bad. I decided to go to bartending school, sounds great. $895 bucks for 40 hours. The slots avaliable was for this month (july) and the next one free was in October. Why didn’t I pick October is beyond me. This way I could of saved up to pay it off and pay my friend for tickets to a show she wanted me to go to. Now I feel like the only broke ass college student with barely any money to get to and from Manhattan to take the class. I got $450 to hurry up and pay by the end of this month and then another $445 when my two weeks are up. They offer job placement so I can easily pay it off after I get a job. But due to the length of the class 4 hours a day for 2 weeks or 8 hours a day for 1 week, I feel that I may not be able to get everything down correctly to go out and become a bartender. I want to be able to consistently make drinks the right way, learn the drinks by heart, learn my co-brands, cordials, and technique for speed. Learning these drink recipes is no problem, its everything else like the co-brands (to up sell drinks), and all the cordials we covered. The instructor covers the class pretty fast and seems to miss some cordials we use. He was like we should know the alcohol content of them. Last I check he never mentioned them to our afternoon class. Need to mention this to him. Also with such a demanding and competitive job I want to be able to feel like I know all the course has to offer. He was like to be confident that you are a bartender when your done with the course . Honestly the course lacks in this ability to teach their students how to be confident bartenders.

Well I got one more week left to do with a few more drink lessons to cover and two tests (written and speed). Wish me luck.

I’m sorry but its already bad enough that its hot outside, my eyes don’t have to suffer as well. Its not hard to buy lotion, they inexpensive, and sold just about everywhere in all sorts of flavors, sizes and types. If you feet/legs/arms are ashy or feel dry, then lotion is a must, out there are tons of lightweight lotions to wear just for summer, make use of them. If you can’t paint your own nails, that’s what nail salons are for, and here in NY there’s hundreds if not thousands (they are freaking everywhere). If you can’t seem to hid the fat that sits over your jeans, its pretty obvious that you need to start buying jeans in your size, not the size you wish you were. With skinny jeans out and about its not impossible to get jeans that fit tight around the legs and comfortable around the waist. Also its known to be a great idea and buy jeans with a higher waist, this way people aren’t blinded by the crack of your ass. Perhaps buy a belt too. Just saying.

Summer is suppose to be a great holiday with a little less than 3 months of it people should at least look as good as the weather is. while all that applies with summer outfits, bathing suits is a whole other deal.

Heres some problems people seem to have, and a possible solution:

1. Wear a bathing suit in your size. If you weight has been changing throughout the year, best chance your gonna need a new bathing suit this year. Even if you feel that your weight hasn’t changed, its still a good idea to try your old one on first (in your house) and see how it fits. If your ass can barely fit, its time for a new bottom, if your boobs aren’t being kept up by the top, then its time for a new one. Bathing suit tops should work like a bra (lift and hold), flimsy ones don’t cut it, plus they seem to be terrible for hiding nipples. Bottoms should contain the unseenables/neitherregions. I don’t want to see most of your ass or your pubes stick out of your bathing suit.
2. Get a bathing suit that matching what you wear and wear sunblock. Don’t buy tops with thick straps, if you like to wear tube style tops and dresses. Tan lines aren’t as sexy as you think. they do sell tube top bathing suits. Sunblock is essential all year round and a must wear if your sensitive to the sun. But during the summer, skip the suntan lotion and grab sun block instead. It protects your skin from premature wrinkles and avoids heavy tans. This way you can have a nice sun kissed look without getting too tanned and looking dirty.
3. Get a bathing suit that goes with your age and weight. I for one wear shorts to over my bikini bottom, mainly because I don’t want anyone seeing my ass. Simple as that. Its know that as you get older likely start to dress your age, while some women are in denial and dress the age they wish they still were, terrible result in the end. Anyway bathing suits shouldn’t be worn that way. Modesty goes a long way, you don’t have to show it all, especially if your heavyset (no offense to anyone with more to love). Wearing a bathing suit that accentuates your body shape and flatters you, its the way to go. the main goal is to look good in a bathing suit.
4. Shave, especially if your a girl, nothing makes you look more nasty than body hair in places were the sun don’t shine. If you know that shaving the day after your first shave hurts, then time your self or buy lotions and creams that help reduce the appearance of hair, or the annoying bumps and redness that comes with shaving. shave your legs too, I’ve noticed that may women who shave too often get weird bumps on their legs, I also noticed that it happens often with cheap razors. A major no-no! invest in more expensive ones like Venus, Schick, etc. Shaving cream also helps a lot, these razors are designed to avoid these unsightly bumps, and damange to the skin. Its worth it.

Well this is all I can think of thats been a major bother to me since summer started.

Then in all seriousness you really need to get out more, and get your hands on some newspapers, watch tv, or get a friend. Still fresh in our minds and a shock to all his fans around the world, the death of Michael Jackson has pretty much hit us all in the gut. This may be old news, but I really wasn’t feeling like blogging when all these celebrities were just leaving us. The death of Farrah Fawcett, Billy Mays, Fred Travalena, and Michael Jackson plagues us all.
But what I really wanted to blog about was for the new Michael Jackson website. Changed now for fans to share their memories and heart felt condolences of Mr. Jackson. For those who care; your welcome to join in. I did.

What I grew up listing to mainly consisted of Spanish Salsa music out at the time, Madonna and Michael Jackson. His music was not only always fun to listen to, but as I grew older I never grew tired of listening to the same hits, along with his new ones at the time.He was timeless to me, one man whose music stood the test of time, and touch the hearts of all of his fans. His death was a shock to us all, He was someone you wanted to live forever. Through all of his hardships I never once changed of opinion of him. He was and always will be Michael Jackson the King of Pop. I along with my family wish his family and most of all his kids the best. May his music live forever.

I actually don’t mind trying these out. I have a interest in make-up mainly eyeshadow but the interest is there. I also wouldn’t mind working at a funeral home, although the training for this seems a little intense, its training for several fields. I can’t cook but learning how in culinary seems like a fun idea, bartending is the same way. Its already obvious that web design and graphic design is something I would have no problem getting into seeing how I already create my own website layouts for all my sites. Learning more is always great. Photography I had a brief fling with, but stopped due to the feeling is most of my shots coming out pretty noobish. I wouldn’t mind taking classes to improve.
Bartending and culinary sounds like a great mix, and if I want to have a career in food this would be a great choice. The same with taking Web Design & Graphic Design and Cosmetology & Hairstyling together. No idea what I want to do. so many choices.

In other news that reunion I mentioned in my other post, turns out its gonna be next year. Talk about WTF. Now the idea of it seems pretty lame.
