Eating Candy at 6AM

Every kid’s dream, but sadly in reality its really like night for me, since I got up around 3 in the afternoon the day before. The only reason why I’m up now and blogging is because

  1. I have to put my brothers on the bus for school. And….
  2. I’m testing out the Microsoft blog function. How awesome. Plus… can’t get into my site…it’s the  host… not me.

Anyway this blog will be bare, so please bare with me (woah too much bare… ahh again) anyway I got a new layout idea in mind, and it’s going to be the most retro layout ever!!!!! Well maybe not but I think it’s awesome. Got my hands on some AWESOME vectors that I just had to use (don’t worry, it’s up for personal use). So while I try and come up with a decent, and good CSS layout that can work with Wordpress smoothly, just hold on for a bit and read my blogs. Also creating the site from just Wordpress doesn’t seem to be looking such a good idea with the navigation looking like a damn tree and a hundred plus branches. I’m going to look at the DOC section on wordpress.org before getting into why I think it’s stupid… no need to make a fool of myself.

Anyway I got into a new series… not that I ever mentioned what I was into in my blogs… but a while back I got into the manga series Viewfinder or the Finder series which I must say is the best yaoi action/drama/smutty/all out amazing manga ever! But yeah you got to be 18+ to read it and me being 19 all the better. It’s really good filled with angst, drama, action, man on boy love, guns, Yakusa, death…. Just a good manga. While waiting for the latest chapter/volume to be updated, I also got into Gokujou no Koibito which is another good manga. This manga is on a former model turn manager and ends up having to manage a younger man who just so happens to the son of the vice president of the agency’s corresponding bank (wow that’s a mouth full) dumped on his lap. At first it seems the boy (Yoshimi Suda) is just a spoiled kid, but after spending time with each other Yoshimi ends up taking a liking to his manager (Masahiro Kuniyoshi). Masahiro tells him he can have him if he can top his former model and his former lover Akito. Its incomplete but still a very good manga for any yaoi lover. Again this is a 18+ manga… doesn’t mean I’m a pervert… I have no hentai mangas (how nasty and gross…) I just happen to like the drama that comes with yaoi stories.

As for my current manga interest, which what even sparked this whole big essay-like response in the first place, Junjou Romantica, which is also a 24 episode anime (up to 12 now) Veho has them, and Aarinfantasy is the one translating them. While I try to stay away from multiple paring mangas (and even stories), this one has the most angst I have ever read in a manga series, its very subtle and skillfully added. It’s just my cup of tea! What makes this worthy of me reading despite of it having as many parings is of course the ANGST!!!!! The paring that starts off is Misaki Takashi who is the younger brother of Akihiko Usami’s unrequited love and totally obvious older brother Takahiro Takashi. The next is Hiroki Kamijyou (who just so happens to have/had a unrequited love with Akihiko) and Nowaki Kusama who is 4 years younger than Hiroki and kind of had a love at first sight meeting with Hiro-san. The next is Shinobu Takatsuki who believes that his relationship or lack of one is destiny and You Miyagi (who happens to be the professor of the same literary department Hiro-san works at in fact he’s the professor Hiro-san is assisting to.) and a paring I have yet to reach up to Ryuichiro Isaka (Akihiko’s editor) and Kaworu Asahina. They all connect in some way and pretty much met each other in some way. A love triangle that sort of doesn’t form. Hard to explain. You also have to really pay attention and read it in order especially if your reading pretty candidly like I do with all my mangas… before I go over them again normally. The anime is to die for, I never laughed so much over any other anime than I did this one. But don’t take that to heart… I’m not a anime fanatic and I’m pretty sure there’s more funnier ones out there. But in reality it’s a good adaption, its exactly like the manga but still great to watch, the voiceovers are amazing as well.

Woah that was on hell of a shameless plug… well it was kind of a shameless plug… anyway its 7:05 am now and this pretty much took an hour… (what a loser). Waiting for my site to hurry the hell up and get back online, so I can post this. I also need some readers… lack of comments is really getting annoying.
